Our people are at the core of everything we do, and we take pride in our work. We bring extensive experience, integrity, and innovative thinking to every technical problem.
We have been successfully meeting our customer"s needs since 1956. We have a reputation with our customers for providing high-quality work, on time and within budget.
We work with our customers on many levels, ranging from short-term projects completed on an as-needed basis, through contractual partnering or teaming relationships, to working side-by-side with our customers in multi-million dollar long-term contracts. Our work is shared with our peers through participation in professional and international standards organizations and by publishing our work when appropriate.
We are home to several centers dedicated to specific areas of research. UDRI also participates in several external centers and consortia (see Partnerships and Affiliations).
We can develop the new techniques and processes needed to solve new or unique problems. Our Technology Partnerships office provides support for the patenting of innovations developed during our work. This office also fosters technology transfer and commercialization of scientific and engineering discoveries made at the University of Dayton.
